In this position you are significantly involved in the development of embedded Linux architectures. You are technically responsible for the development of software for embedded Linux platforms. You already have several years of experience as an embedded developer and like to work independently? Then this is the right position for you.
 

THE TASKS AWAITING YOU

  • development of software for embedded Linux platforms
  • further development of YOCTO Recipies
  • maintenance and further development of the build infrastructure
  • development and customization of kernel drivers
  • support in software testing and deployment
  • collaboration in the selection of technologies
  • support in effort estimation and strategic planningd
  • development and maintenance of specifications and documentation

HOW YOU CAN INSPIRE US

  • technical education (HTL, Uni or FH) in the field of computer science, software engineering
  • several years of experience as embedded Linux and/or kernel developer
  • experience with ARM architectures and YOCTO Linux
  • very good knowledge with C/C++, Python and Bash
  • first professional experience with automation of build systems and unit tests
  • experience with network communication and Bluetooth as well as basic knowledge of IT security
  • knowledge of continuous integration, agile software development and configuration management
  • communication skills for cross-departmental and cross-company coordination
  • very good English skills, both written and spoken
  • independent, accurate and self-reliant work style
